1. Introduction

Welcome to OneClickTabs. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the OneClickTabs browser extension and website. OneClickTabs is developed and operated independently by Bilal Ahmed.

2. Data We Collect & How We Store It

OneClickTabs is designed with a privacy-first and data-minimization approach. We only store the information necessary to provide the features you choose to use. The way your workspaces, saved tabs, and URLs are stored depends on your subscription tier and synchronization preferences.

• Free Tier (100% Local Storage): All workspaces, saved tabs, URL collections, workspace names, and related settings are stored exclusively on your device using Chrome's local storage system. No workspace data is transmitted to our servers, and we do not have access to your saved URLs, browsing sessions, or workspace content.
• Pro Tier (Local-First + Optional Backup): Your data remains stored locally on your device by default. To help protect against accidental data loss, browser corruption, or device migration, you may choose to manually back up up to 10 workspaces to our secure cloud infrastructure powered by Supabase. Only the workspaces you explicitly select for backup are uploaded. Workspaces that are not backed up remain stored exclusively on your local device.
• Cloud Tier (Granular Cloud Synchronization): You retain full control over which workspaces are synchronized. Cloud synchronization is disabled by default and only becomes active when you manually enable the "Cloud" option for an individual workspace or use the "Cloud All" feature. When synchronization is enabled, the selected workspace data, including workspace names, saved URLs, tab metadata, and organizational settings, is securely transmitted to and stored within our Supabase-hosted database infrastructure to provide cross-device synchronization and backup functionality. Total synchronized data is subject to the storage limits associated with your subscription plan.
• Workspace & URL Deletion: We respect user control over stored data. If you remove a URL from a synchronized workspace, the corresponding cloud record is automatically deleted from our database and removed from future synchronization. Likewise, if you delete a synchronized workspace, the associated cloud-stored workspace data is automatically removed from our servers and synchronization systems.
• Local Data Removal: When you delete a workspace, URL, or other saved content through OneClickTabs, that information is immediately removed from your device's local storage. If the deleted content was previously synchronized to the cloud, it is also removed from our cloud infrastructure during the deletion process, ensuring consistency between your local device and cloud account.
• Data Retention & User Control: We do not retain deleted workspace data for product functionality after a successful deletion request. Users maintain full control over which workspaces are stored locally, synchronized to the cloud, backed up, or permanently removed.

3. Extension Permissions & Data Access

To provide its core functionality, the OneClickTabs browser extension requires specific permissions. We adhere to the principle of least privilege, requesting only what is strictly necessary:

• Tabs & ActiveTab: Required to read the URLs, titles, and favicons of your currently open tabs so they can be saved into your custom workspaces. We do not track your general browsing history, monitor websites in the background, or read data from tabs you do not explicitly choose to save.
• Storage: Required to securely save your workspaces, settings, and URLs locally on your device. This ensures the extension works offline and loads instantly.
• SidePanel: Required to display the OneClickTabs user interface seamlessly within your browser's side panel for convenient multitasking.
• Host Permissions (*.supabase.co): Required to establish a secure connection to our backend infrastructure (Supabase). This is strictly used for user authentication, account management, and the optional cloud synchronization of your selected workspaces.

4. Account & Payment Information

To create and manage your account, process premium upgrades (Pro and Cloud tiers), and ensure regional compliance, we collect and store the minimum information necessary to provide our services. This may include your email address, a unique User ID (UUID), your subscription tier status, your country-level region code, and payment-related identifiers such as transaction IDs, payment IDs, order IDs, subscription IDs, or customer IDs provided by our payment processors.

How Region Data is Collected: Your region code is automatically determined at the time of account registration based on server-side network routing (IP address country mapping). We do not collect, request, or store your precise GPS location, device telemetry, or real-time tracking data. Please note that to prevent regional pricing fraud, proxy or VPN manipulation during registration may result in account termination.

Payment Processing: We do not process or store full credit card numbers, debit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account credentials. All transactions are securely processed by our third-party payment gateways (PayPal and Razorpay). We may receive and store limited payment metadata, such as payment IDs, transaction references, subscription identifiers, payment status, and billing-related records necessary for account management, fraud prevention, customer support, and legal compliance.

5. Analytics and Tracking

OneClickTabs respects your browsing privacy. We do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party behavioral tracking scripts on our website or within our browser extension.

6. Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated Cloud data at any time. Because of our strict cascading database architecture, deleting your account ID will instantly and permanently erase all associated Cloud backups. Local data can be deleted by simply uninstalling the extension.
